Growing up in Chicago, the Brown brothers started their career in the Chicago Vocational Music Program, but it was neighborhood friend Tom Washington (Tom-Tom 84) who recorded and arranged with super group Earth, Wind and Fire and many others that influenced them most. After high school they performed regularly around the Chicago area at community events, private events and clubs including the infamous Cotton Club and The Click. The Brown brothers also had the opportunity to open for the late Bernie Mac. In the early 90’s Michael and Harold left Chicago, headed to Las Vegas and soon begin performing regularly.

Stanley Small aka (Duayne Stanley), a creative songwriter, arranger, producer and vocal performer, is a self taught keyboardist who also plays saxophone, drums and percussion.  Review from Jazzcorner.com:

While the band's sound is original and unmistakably one-of-a-kind, it is safe to say that fans of artists such as Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, and Miles Davis will enjoy this artist's music, particularly "For the Love of Music".

Review from Nataly's Corner;

" It's diverse, vibrant and catchy, yet it retains a lot of depth and an undeniable look for great songwriting and high quality music.The title of this amazing release says it all. It's not about the fame or making it big. It's just all about pursuing the joy of creating; "That sheer love of music that makes it all worthwhile........
